Welcome to Timberscombe Farm!

Welcome to Timberscombe Farm, established in 2005. We are located in the northeast corner of beautiful Tioga County, Pennsylvania, about a mile off of scenic PA Route 6. Although the setting is picturesque, rural America we are part of the diverse global economy. And so the operations at Timberscombe farm are also diverse and global. Our main focus is raising and breeding ARI registered alpacas and their related products. Also in the livestock area, we raise and breed AKC Labrador Retrievers. To round out our operation we are engaged in sustainable agriculture producing vegetables for market.

Our herd consists of Huacaya alpacas of various colors: white, fawn, brown, and black. Some are full Peruvian, some are full Chilean, and some are of mixed heritage. All are beautiful! Our mission is to produce alpacas with excellent fiber qualities such as fineness, density and crimp. We will achieve this through good genetic combinations along with a healthy living environment in which to live. Our herdsire is Snowmass Condornar who is light brown, handsome, and producing beautiful crias. (See our Timberscombe Farm Meadow.) Our alpaca operations include proven and unproven female and males alpacas for sale and fiber products, including roving, yarn and fine knitted clothing.

We will also have AKC registered puppies for sale in the spring of 2008. We know this is a while away, but it will be here before you know it. Ebony and Ivory were born in March 2006. They are maturing into absolutely beautiful young adults. Our goal is to produce genetically sound offspring and provide a healthy start to their lives through superior nutrition. We are eager for next spring to arrive so we can have our first litters. So keep us in mind for your Lab needs.

We are producing a small crop of beans, tomatoes, squash, lettuce, peppers, and corn this year. Our plan is to produce our vegetables naturally without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Next year we will increase our yield, plant some soft fruits, and hopefully install a greenhouse to extend the growing season.

We invite you to go to our photo gallery and view the pictures. Although a picture is worth a thousand words, an actual experience is priceless. So please contact us for more information or to arrange a visit to meet our wonderful family.
